Why don’t we give emails the respect they deserve?
It seems like a silly question but in this day and age of over-saturated inboxes, but we’ve found a quick fix, don’t over think it, solution to cut through the noise… read on:
Don’t bury the lead. It’s something any good journalist can tell you. Get to the point, after you address your recipient, state why it is you are writing your email. Make sure that your subject heading solicits the response you’re looking for.
Brevity always trumps a novel. Nothing new here. Keep it rich and simple: rich, beautiful imagery that convey your message and simple, sharp copy that drive the point home.
Use proper spelling, grammar and punctuation. Also called: never use a one dollar word when a ten cent word will do: keep it sharp, keep it simple, and keep it to the point. We can help
